Company talk: GeneArt (ThermoFisher Scientific) GmbH

Although, due to the Corona situation excursions to companies or trade fairs are currently not possible, the RIGeL Excursions Team continues its activities in a modified form. The team is organizing virtual excursions, so called company talks. Leaders and members of different companies give an insight into the structure and workflow of the companies and provide PhD students and students with useful hints for applications.

The next company talk will be given by GeneArt (ThermoFisher Scientific).

GeneArt GmbH is a German company and is leading provider in the field of DNA engineering and downstream processing. GeneArt technology platforms range from the manufacture of RNA- and codon-optimized synthetic genes to complete gene-to-protein production and CRISPR genome editing. GeneArt was acquired by one of the world’s largest medical technology companies, ThermoFisher, in 2010.

Dr. Sebastian Wennekamp (Quality Manager) will introduce GeneArt, ThermoFisher and will give insight into the field of quality management and assurance, and its application.
